2. Data Collection by Facebook and Instagram when visiting our Website

Facebook and Instagram share their infrastructure, systems and technology with other Facebook companies (e.g. WhatsApp), in order to be able to offer a uniform user experience across all products of the Facebook companies. For this reason, visitor information from Instagram is also collected by the Facebook companies. This means that every time our fan page is accessed on Instagram, i.e. when a file on this fan page is retrieved or attempted to be retrieved, data about this process is stored in a log file. The legal basis for this is a legitimate interest of Facebook pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

We cannot rule out the possibility that, when visiting our fan page, Instagram may process your personal data. For more information, please see the Instagram privacy policy at https://instagram.com/about/legal/privacy If you are requested to consent to data processing, i.e. to declare your agreement by checking a checkbox or clicking a button, the legal basis for processing is Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR.

Further information on the scope and processing of your personal data can be found in Instagram's privacy notice: https://instagram.com/about/legal/privacy

3. Web Analysis by Facebook Insights

Facebook Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland, (Facebook) offers us as a commercial member the web analysis service “Insights” on Instagram. This function generates an overview of statistically processed data for our company site on Instagram without any personal reference, i.e. in the sense of a web analysis. As the operator of our company website, we have no influence on this process. The associated data processing takes place exclusively on Facebook.

Further information on this process is provided by Facebook: facebook.com/business/insights = https://de-de.facebook.com/business/pages/manage#page_insights

The “Insights” service places cookies on the device of a visitor to our corporate page, which store the information on the visitor's browser for a period of two years and remain active if they are not deleted. You can specify the delete options in your browser settings.

“Insights” enables us to generate statistics on the computer or any other device of the visitor to our corporate page about which posts aroused interest and attention. This takes place regardless of whether you as a visitor to the corporate page have a Facebook or Instagram account or not. The visitor statistics generated by Facebook are transmitted to us exclusively in anonymised form. Analysis of user behaviour on our corporate page takes place for improvement and marketing purposes. This legitimate interest forms the basis for this data collection, Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

Please note that, by visiting our corporate pages, your data could be processed outside the area of the European Union. Further information is provided in the privacy policy https://instagram.com/about/legal/privacy and the opt-out option: help.instagram.com = https://instagram.com/about/legal/privacy

Facebook is certified under the Privacy Shield. This means that the company has undertaken to comply with the EU data protection standard: privacyshield.gov/participant

We only process the personal data which you yourself have made public (e.g. nickname in the user profile) and which are directly connected to activities on our fan page (e.g. contributions, posts, likes, markers) for the purpose of processing your request. The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

When you visit our corporate page, the “Insights” function is also used to carry out the above-mentioned web analysis for marketing purposes, which enables us to measure and optimise our market presence. The legal basis for data processing is our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

5. Duration of Processing
