How to connect the Pegasar 500 accu correctly?

Working steps and instructions

Stud welding with the Pegasar 500 Accu can be performed in a few simple steps. The video is intended to support you during installation.

The video shows you the following steps:

  • Preparation / Installation
  • Insert the battery into the device
    Insert the battery in the correct position (left: double groove, right: groove). Push the battery into the battery case up to the stop.
    When delivered with inserted battery, a transport protection separates the contacts between the stud welder and the battery. Carefully remove the transport protection and store it.
  • Connect the ground cable
    Plug the ground cable into the matching plug connection of the stud welder. Press the plug and turn it powerfully to the right.*
  • Connect the ground clamp
    Attach the ground clamp to the workpiece with the highest possible clamping force.*
  • Connect the stud welding gun with stud welding unit
    Connect the welding power cable and then connect the control cable.
  • Connect the welding power cable
    Now plug the welding power cable into the suitable plug connection of the stud welder. Press the plug and turn it powerfully to the right.*
  • Connect the control cable
    Plug the control cable into the matching plug connection of the stud welder and turn the union nut of the control cable plug to the right.*
  • Welding in battery mode
  • Switching on the stud welding unit
    Press the "On" key to switch on the stud welding unit.
  • Determining the charging voltage
    The charging voltage at the stud welder is first adjusted via the related stud diameter keys. Depending on the material or surfaces, the charging voltage can be adjusted by fine tuning.
  • Welding


*Only loosely inserted connections will cause damage to the plug connections. Therefore, always check the tightness of the plug connection.
